'Parenting Today in Victoria' is a population level, representative, cross-sectional survey of Victorian parents of children aged 0-18 years.

The survey will collect information on parenting experiences with a focus on parenting attitudes, behaviours and concerns. The survey, which has been developed by the Parenting Research Centre, has been developed so that it can be repeated at regular intervals.

The survey will be conducted from February to April 2016 using computer assisted telphone interviewing (CATI) with a sample of 2,600 parents.

The data survey results will be available to the Department of Education in June 2016.  The findings of the survey will provide the Department with baseline data; assist in the development of policy and service delivery; and inform family engagement strategies.

Parents Victoria would encourage parents to "take the call" and provide feedback if contacted.
