Advice and support
If you need advice, help or support with a school or Parent Club issue, please fill in our online Request for Support form (below).
- We can only help with issues at Victorian government schools. (If you wish to raise a concern at a Catholic or independent school, see the Education Department website for more information.)
- Parents Victoria does not provide health, legal, or financial advice.
- Our advocacy support service is provided via email, phone and occasionally by videoconference. Due to limited resources, PV is currently unable to provide in-person advocacy.

Request for support
Before you fill in the form, this might help…
We have developed a Tip Sheet to help parents who need to have a conversation/meeting with their school about a matter they would like to raise. It’s two pages of practical advice, developed from our long experience of supporting parents. Please read this information before you fill in the form. It will save time in the long run!
So that Parents Victoria can provide advice and support and/or make enquiry on your behalf with the school, DET or Government in regards to your matter, we need to know :
- The background to the matter (what happened)
- Individuals within DET/Government/organisations/agencies who you have contacted
- The current status
- Your desired outcome (what would be reasonable actions taken by the School or DET to sort the situation).
When responding you are welcome to attach copies of relevant correspondence, however, we do still require a summary of key points via the form.
Note that the form also asks for your permission before Parents Victoria will discuss the matter with relevant individuals or organisations.
