In 2017 the Inner Northern Local Learning and Employment Network (INLLEN) ran a workshop titled Joining the Dots: Parent and Family Engagement.

Participants learnt to unpack parent and family engagement from a school perspective, workshopped a self reflective audit tool and gained some practical strategies and resources to use within their own workplaces. Participants also valued the opportunity to make new contacts, hear from a parent perspective, and learn from two diverse education settings.

Presenters included Parents Victoria, Catholic Education Melbourne, St Peter Chanel School Deer Park, and Glenroy College. INLLEN has made the presentations from the workshop available on its website. There are some excellent ideas, information and case studies here - check them out!
