The Fundraising Directory in collaboration with QUT's Australian Centre for Philanthropy and Nonprofit Studies are undertaking this project / survey to gather data and experiences that will help guide future fete organisers.  After completing the survey you can choose to enter the draw to win one of 3 Vegepod container gardens for your school.  For further information.  Survey closes Friday October 13.

Parents Victoria's Executive Officer, Gail McHardy comments, schools tried to ensure that all trips were affordable.  "Schools need to make sure they are looking at the relevance of learning and that the camps are accessible and affordable for everyone."

An audit is currently being conducted by the Victorian Auditor-General's Office (VAGO) into the governance of government schools in Victoria - 'School councils in government schools'.  VAGO will make recommendations on how the current arrangements can be improved.


VAGO is now consulting with school councillors about the strengths and weaknesses of the current arrangements and practices.  As a current or past School Council member of a Victorian Government School VAGO wants to talk to you about your experience.  They are holding a series of discussions forums to hear from councillors directly.
